Introduction

Welcome to the page of Raven group which consists of 2 companies: Raven a.s. and Raven CZ a.s. operating in the sphere of sales of metallurgical and construction material and delivering services.

 

The companies Raven a.s. and Raven CZ a.s. dispose of a wide network of branches, in particular within the area of the Slovak Republic where there are 6 divisions, and in the Czech Republic there are 2 points of sale. Besides domestic customers (Slovakia, Czech Republic), it is also oriented to the foreign clients, mostly from Hungary, Austria, Croatia, etc..

    

The joint-stock company Raven was founded in the year 1993 by a Slovak stock-holder. Since its foundation, it has experienced a dynamic development and eventually ranked among the prominent and major companies trading in the metallurgical sector within the Slovak Republic. In 2002, the company established a subsidiary corporation Raven CZ a.s. located in Hradec Králové. In autumn 2006, a new warehouse in Brno was opened, which helped Raven CZ to strengthen its position on the Czech market.

In the year 2005, Raven broadened the base of its modern servis centre, which includes cutting and bending of reinforcing steel and transportation to the place of destination, by dividing of profiled steel to required dimension, cutting, burning of heavy sheets and production of cut shapes. Since the beginning of 2007, the company has offered a novelty in provided services – production of concrete cages for piles (See the section Services for further details).

Besides metallurgical material the company Raven a.s. provides its customers with a wide range of building material through the Building materials division in Považské Podhradie (See the section Offer for further details).
